Our Amazing Bedrooms

Mr Scott asked us to design an Amazing Bedroom. We were given a challenge to include at least three items eg: something for a pet, something to entertain, something to light the room. We began by brainstorming ideas with a buddy. We then drew a plan. We then learned how to attach various shapes like a spiral and a cylinder to paper by cutting tabs and using a glue stick. lastly we used these skills and our imagination to construct a 3D model. Mr Scott supplied us with a pizza box each from his work and surprised us with a variety of contents in the box like a small square of blue tac, a pipe cleaner etc.
Here we are presenting our completed rooms to Room 22. They were all truly AMAZING!!
Thank-you Mr Scott and Well Done room 24 for demonstrating the Sunnyhills School Gem - Growth- by being creative!!!

Fraction Pizza

As part of learning about Fractions, Mr Scott asked us to design a pizza made from paper. Some of us covered the whole base with sauce and cheese. Some placed ham filling on half and others had a much more random, all in together approach. They all looked yummy!

Gingerbread Baking

At the end of the term we made Gingerbread with the help of Beth Morris as a follow up to the theatre group that visited the school.
